Dr. Tanya McClendon is a native of Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Parker University College of Chiropractic. Dr. Tanya has extensive training from the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association (ICPA). Dr. Tanya looks forward to helping families reach their optimum health through teaching about chiropractic.
Prior to her Chiropractic studies, Dr. Tanya graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Military Science. Upon graduation, she commissioned in the U.S. Army as a Second Lieutenant in the Medical Service Corps. During her service, she deployed twice as apart of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Her duty stations included Fort Hood, Texas and Yongsan, South Korea. She was honorably discharged as a Captain.
She practiced in Washington for 2 years before returning home to the Dallas area. She is often described as quiet initially, outgoing, passionate, compassionate, patient, dependable and open-minded. In her spare time, she enjoys sewing, learning and watching basketball.
